As mentioned above, this can be used to beat any campaign on Expert (with or without realism enabled) to help you get Real Deal and Still Something to Prove. The glitch is fairly simple and it WILL work if and only if you follow all of the steps correctly. Here they are...
- No, you can't do this alone, so get a friend. No, you and your friend cannot be on the same console.
- At least one of you has to volunteer to NOT get the achievement. You'll have to take turns.
- The person NOT getting it (we'll call him Mr. NOT) starts a lobby for an Easy campaign (realism optional) and sets it to Local Server.
- All players join.
- Make the game Private so that no randoms can get in and mess you up.
- Play through the entire campaign on Easy until you get to the last level.
- BEFORE LEAVING THE STARTING SAFE ROOM OF THE LAST LEVEL:
- People getting the achievement exit to main menu.
- Mr. NOT sends them an invite.
- They DON'T accept the invite yet.
- Mr. NOT plays the finale on Easy.
- AFTER THE SECOND TANK DEATH
- Mr. NOT votes to change the difficulty to Expert.
- AFTER THE VOTE PASSES
- Mr. NOT tells everyone to accept the invite.
- Players coming in should continuously press the right trigger to take control of their survivor.
- Once everyone is in, get on the rescue vehicle.
- People who left and came back in should have the expert campaign.
Other Important Tips:
- Everyone have a pipe bomb or bile bomb going in to the finale. When you change to expert, use it to fight off the Expert horde while the other players are joining.
- Be in a party so that you can tell everyone else when to join in.
- Don't accept the invite until the vote passes.
Important Campaign Tips:
- Dead Center: Fill 12 Gas cans, then wait for the second tank if you need to. Usually you can get all 13 without seeing the 2nd tank, but wait for him to come and kill him. Also, wait to fill the last can until everyone is in the game.
- Dark Carnival: a Third tank comes quick so be ready to get on the helicopter. Also, let everyone coming in know what side the copter is on.
- Swamp Fever: Take on the 2nd tank out in the field so that everyone is by the Rescue vehicle when it comes.
- Hard Rain: Again, make sure you're by the docks when the 2nd tank dies.
- The Parish: I highly recommend having more than 1 person to play the finale. You have to make sure the bots keep up with you which sucks. Take the time to kill the Easy Tank so he doesn't kill your bots.
Disclaimer: You don't have to use this glitch. We aren't telling you that you should use this glitch. If you want to do all of the campaigns on Expert legit, then do it. It will make the Achievements so much more satisfying. This is just for all of you out there who want the achievement, but don't like the time commitment and frustration that comes with Expert.
